[Tutorial] Coconut Oil Hair Mask

Hello, everyone!

So I’ve been on Pinterest lately and found this DIY hair mask for damaged hair just by using coconut oil. Below is the result on my hair. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

This much of difference and I've just tried it once!
This much of difference and I’ve just tried it once!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • Shower cap

How to:

  1. Spread the coconut oil on your hair, concentrating to your ends.
  2. Put on your shower cap, let the coconut oil absorbed for around 30 minutes.
  3. Rinse your hair, make sure there’s no coconut oil left on your hair. Then use your conditioner and hair vitamin as usual.

Well, that’s all you have to do to make your hair better! Simple, right? If you guys have tried it, let me know the result on the comment below 😉

  1. its okay even if there is coconut oil left in the hair after the wash 🙂 a lot of people use oil after they shampoo. gives the hair a nice shine 😀

    1. Thanks for the info! 😀 I guess it depends on the type of our hair itself. Mine is combination so if I got the coconut oil left on my hair it becomes terrible 😦

    1. Hello, I don’t use a particular hair vitamin product, so probably I won’t be able to give you proper suggestion.

Here’s a list of hair products I use:
      1. Anti-dandruff shampoo (I use 3 different products and pick one depending on my current hair condition)
      2. Organic Care Colour Shield conditioner. I choose this variant because I bleached my hair recently.
      3. TRESemme Keratin Smooth Flat Iron Smoothing Spray to protect my hair from heat
      4. Coconut oil for hair mask
      5. Makarizo Hair Energy Scentsations (hair fragrance with UV protection). This one I only use occasionally.

I personally think that organic/natural-based products have better effect on our hair compared to chemical-based products, so I recommend you to look out for those specially made for anti-hair loss 🙂
